An underground math rock artist.
Brian Fire is a solo project born out of inner tension — the quiet struggle between who you are and who you believe you can become. As Brian prepares to leave Atlanta and relocate to New York City, the change mirrors a deeper artistic evolution. Classically trained and shaped by years in marching band and drum corps, Brian Fire reflects an artist learning to trust his creative voice. “I’ve always known I was an artist at heart,” he says. “But it took years to cross the line from wanting to make music to becoming someone who does.” His sound blends indie pop, bedroom pop, and indie rock — warm synths, melancholic optimism, steady basslines, and textures that feel like light filtering through trees. The production is DIY at its core: sketched in voice memos during long walks, shaped in apartments and coffee shops. Songs explore change, uncertainty, relationships, and identity, especially in moments of personal flux. Influenced by classical music, early 2000s alt rock, house, and ambitious modern pop, Brian’s music is a medley of lived experience — from California roots to Georgia growth, from ensemble stages to solo expression. Brian Fire isn’t just a name; it’s a creative aspiration — an evolving connection to the artist within.
