An underground, homegrown indie rock act.
Formed in Brighton, England in 2015 by singer Matthew Hanson-Kahn and guitarist Nick Goodson, and also comprising Robert Dickinson on keyboards, Steve Tinson on drums and Rod Cole on bass. Brighton Strangler is a five piece indie band, with a vibrant punk pop sound. Their crisp melodies and driving guitar with influences from Joy Division and the Gang of Four make the songs simple but catchy, clean and yet dirty and most of all they are fun. The lyrics are alternately funny and anguished, whether they sing about love, drugs or rock n roll.
