Carol Anne Bosco

Carol Anne Bosco’s music includes playfully melodramatic ballads, mischievous tunes about baseball players, and lyrical homages to California coastal highways. Her original songs integrate jazz, classical, and folk elements, and are arranged for a chameleon band that can be as small as a solo cello and vox set, as big as a ten-piece band with rhythm section and string quartet arrangements. She writes with an emphasis on interesting melody lines, energetic grooves, and ranging solos. Carol Anne was a finalist in the 2023 Bernard Ebb Songwriting Competition, and was selected as a featured artist in the 2025 Texas Women’s Songwriter Festival. She has performed for the Tiny Desk Concerts featuring Oscar-winning composer Volker Bertelmann (Haushka), alt-J, Billy Corgan, Alisa Amador, and Meg Myers. The latter concert included her own string quartet arrangements. She has performed with Jenny Lewis, Jukebox the Ghost, and Hurray for the RiffRaff, as well with Jump Little Children on their Oblivion tour.
