Charlie DK is a DJ, producer and founder of Drifted Records, rooted in the deeper side of underground dance music. Moving between tech-house, garage and stripped-back house, his sound is built around groove, swing and a strong dancefloor instinct. With years spent behind the decks, Charlie has played an array of stalwart clubs, festivals and warehouse parties across the UK and internationally, including London’s fabric, as well as shows in New York, Moscow and Berlin. An original resident for the influential London party and label Art of Dark, Charlie stepped away for a while, quietly developing his sound and his own musical home through Drifted Records. Now back behind the decks, the next chapter is underway. As a producer, his releases have appeared on Drifted Records and Outboard Music, with his music reflecting the same understated, groove-led approach that defines his DJ sets.
