CHICKN

CHICKN is an Athens-based rock group formed back in 2012. Fed by genuine curiosity and passion for psychedelic music, the band started gigging extensively without any discography, media coverage or particular reason, building a strong word of mouth among the city’s live audience. Since then, it has been seven years of experimentation, explosive gigs, three EP’s, two albums and dozens of rotating band members who formed, deformed and re-formed CHICKN. Their debut self-titled double LP stands as landmark of the above mentioned process. For the needs of their sophomore LP “WOWSERS!”, CHICKN’s line-up solidified in their current five-piece form that not only recorded it but took it on the road as well. CHICKN so far have embarked into four European Tours in Greece, Turkey, The Balkans, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, Holland, Spain and the UK. In June 2019 they performed at the annual ACNE Film party in Cannes. Currently they are planning their fifth tour in support of the new album Bel Esprit, out in October 18th, via Inner Ear Records. CHICKN have shared the stage with Damo Suzuki, Ty Segall, Acid Mothers Temple, the Budos Band, Preoccupations, Moon Duo, Underground Youth, Duchess Says, The Cavemen, Thor Harris, Surfbort, Vibravoid and more.
