CISSI TV is the new solo project from Stockholm-born, Los Angeles-based multidisciplinary artist Cissi Efraimsson. She's best known for her fantastical stop motion animation and for drumming in bands like Vulkano and Those Dancing Days, with a few albums and world tours under her belt. Efraimsson has also studied fine arts at the Royal Institute of Art in Stockholm and experimental animation at CalArts in California. Her debut EP Mixed Signals (dropping October 2025) kicks off with “I Guess I Made It” —is a tongue-in-cheek reflection on chasing dreams in LA. “It’s kind of me roasting myself,” Cissi says: “I moved to LA to ‘make it’ and ended up broke, stuck in traffic, watching another fantastic sunset from inside my shitty car on my own”. CISSI TV’s sound blends dance punk and art pop with a hint of ’80s new wave. Influences include ESG, Delta 5, Liquid Liquid, Lizzy Mercier Descloux, Devo, and early Talking Heads.
