On the surface, it’s all catchy hooks, playful production, and bedroom-pop charm... but underneath, it drips with feeling. CON THE ARTIST makes music that feels like a well kept secret that quickly becomes everyone’s favourite discovery. Born and raised in South Africa, now emerging from Toronto’s creative corners, he’s built a career producing hip-hop records and composing for orchestras and film in service of someone else’s vision. But now, CON is stepping into the spotlight to tell his own story. With a Composer Brain and a Pop Heart, CON’s sound is cinematic but never predictable. Fresh off being named an iHeartRadio Future Star and completing a tour across Canada with LØLØ, CON is now heading to the UK for his next run of shows. The momentum continues with national Virgin Radio support for “Where’s Your Girlfriend,” alongside film and TV placements across Netflix, Apple TV, Disney+, HBO Canada, and more. Now, CON is entering his biggest chapter yet with the release of his debut album, "THIS IS A BREAKUP ALBUM"... a collection of songs that turns the mess, humour, heartbreak, and strange aftermath of a breakup into something you can scream, dance, and cry along to.
