CTC

CTC (Controlul Tehnic de Calitate) is one of the most well-known and influential Romanian hip-hop groups. Formed in the early 2000s, the group consists of three core members: DOC (Vlad Munteanu), Deliric (Răzvan Eremia), and Vlad Dobrescu. Each member has a unique style, and together they’ve contributed to shaping Romania’s hip-hop scene. CTC is praised for its lyricism, which often deals with social issues, politics, and personal struggles, delivered in a sharp, thought-provoking manner. The group’s impact goes beyond just music, as they have helped foster a vibrant hip-hop culture in Romania. Their debut album, “Dificultăți Tehnice” (2005), is considered a landmark in Romanian hip-hop, featuring a mix of boom-bap beats and introspective lyrics. Over the years, the members have also pursued successful solo careers but occasionally reunite for performances and new releases.
