Flou Rege

Flou Rege, born in Zărnești on October 27, 1987, is one of the most introspective voices in Romanian hip-hop. With a style rooted in boom-bap and soul, his music blends poetry, philosophy, and personal truth. His lyrics search for meaning—across pain, identity, and healing—turning lived experience into something universal. He grew up in Transylvania and Fălticeni, where he began writing in 2003. In 2005, he co-founded Gradu’ Zero with Pytt and DJ Al*bu, releasing "4 Chipuri" and "Cum am promis". His solo debut, "Eu și Muzica" (2012), became a landmark in Romania’s underground scene, with tracks like "Murdar", "Trec zilele", and "3 minute 0 nouă". He’s collaborated with Vlad Dobrescu, Nimeni Altu', Dragonu’ AKA 47, Chimie, and others. Songs like "Anima Mundi" and "Semn neclar" stay with you—rooted in honesty, crafted with intention, and driven by truth. After six years of silence, he returned in 2024 with "Nuanțe Negre", the first glimpse into "Nocturne"—an album inspired by Chopin, the night, inner peace, and the quiet strength found in vulnerability. His music doesn't just tell stories—it invites reflection, healing, and a return to the self.
