A polished, underground classical artist.
Cyrill Ibrahim is a British pianist, artist and cultural thinker exploring the enduring power of classical music and its place in the world today. A graduate of the Royal College of Music, Cyrill has performed at major venues including the Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Philharmonie Berlin and St John’s Smith Square, and for King Charles III and Queen Camilla. He has collaborated with artists including Gil Shaham, Simona Mihai and Paul Mealor. His work has been featured by BBC One, BBC Radio 3, Sky Arts, Classic FM, The Times, Tatler, Pianist and Gentleman’s Journal. He recently appeared in the Sky Arts documentary Mozart: Genius for Hire. At the heart of his artistic practice is New Enlightenment — a vision for classical music as a living, transformative force in contemporary culture. His programmes bring the established canon into dialogue with the present, exploring how music can create connection, offer stillness and provoke thought. His debut album, Dialogue, originally released in 2016, now enters a new chapter through Heroic, Cyrill’s independent label. For Cyrill, classical music is not a museum. It is a living language — still evolving, still speaking, and still capable of changing us.
