DD Island is a Brooklyn-based folk-rock band, formed in 2023 over a shared love of analog recording. Drawing on the familiarity of '60s and '70s West Coast country and psychedelic rock, DD Island still pulses with a brightness and grit that is grounded in present-day New York. The band has been playing around NYC and along the East Coast for the past few years, cultivating a grassroots audience. During that time, they’ve refined a collection of songs that'll be released as their first full-length record, Setting Sun, due in Spring 2026.
