Deborah Slijkhuis

Deborah is a musician, composer and producer from the Netherlands, based in Zwolle. She started playing classical piano at a young age, eventually picking up the bass, singing, writing and recording her own music. She loves to create music in her own unique way; through many different musical layers and with a love for rich orchestration. With a deep inner urge to create, she discovers more about herself and the world around her. Her music can be described as emotionally deep, honest, and limitless. Inspired by the elements this world provides and the people around her, she is on a mission to share her heart and make a positive impact on whoever needs it. She refuses to box her music into a specific genre, stating: 'I would rather just call it music'. Her sound can be described as cinematic, experimental, rich, layered and intense. In February 2027 she will release her self-titled fourth album 'Deborah'. This album is an autobiographical journey where she opens up about personal themes that matter to her. Through her music, Deborah hopes to help people connect more deeply with their emotions and, in doing so, bring more meaning to their lives.
