The ‘verbal eye-roll’ you never knew you needed. DEJA is sassy and bold. So is her music. The Birmingham-born singer combines relatable and fiery lyrics with sticky, rhythmic Afro-Pop production. Notion praised her as an artist who’s “making waves with her own brand of main-character energy with anthems of self-love and confidence." DEJA has established herself as a black pop-powerhouse and a force to be reckoned with, winning a UK-wide emerging talent competition supported by Marshall and TikTok to join the MOBO UnSung Class of 2023. Her infectious rhythms and vivacious energy have captivated BBC Radio 1Xtra, Kiss Xtra, Colors, Wonderland, Clash, Complex, Lyrical Lemonade and many more.
