A queer house act.
What began as renegade gatherings in the Southern California desert has grown into a global community known for its vibrant energy, inclusive ethos, and unmistakable sound ~ a culture rooted in connection, self-expression, and doing things their own way from day one. Founding members Mikey Lion and Marbs now step forward as a unified artist project, Desert Hearts, channeling 15 years of dance floor experience into music that captures the spirit of their events. With two labels collectively distributing over 200 releases with countless chart-topping tracks, a world-renowned festival, and over a decade of touring together, Desert Hearts has become a household name in the house and techno world. They bridge underground grit with a feel-good energy that resonates far beyond the club and connects with dancers worldwide. With roots in marathon DJ sets, sunrise moments, and a fiercely loyal community, Desert Hearts brings a distinct perspective to electronic music ~ a mission that prioritizes connection, freedom, and real human energy over trends, formulas, or industry expectations. Whether on stage, in the studio, or on the dance floor, Desert Hearts is intimate by design and represents a simple idea: House, Techno & Love… We Are All Desert Hearts.
Desert Hearts plays an uplifting blend of house and techno rooted in underground club culture and festival soundscapes.
