DRS
Decades into a remarkable career that has spanned nine albums and countless pieces of honest, inward, and elegantly narrated music, it's only now that DRS is sharing music with the world that is the purest reflection of himself. With 2025 marking five years sober for the Manchester-based MC, DRS's last release (The “Everything Must Go” mixtape) on Space Cadet acts as his most unadulterated body of work to date. Having championed merging emotive wordplay with the complex rhythms of drum and bass music, DRS' six solo albums, as well as three collaborative LPs with MC Dynamite, LSB and Pitch 92 have gone some way in cementing his reputation as one of the most unique, talented, and iconic lyricists to ever grace the drum and bass scene. In 2015, DRS released 'Mid Mic Crisis', his third extended body of work. It was this album that acted as host to 'The View', a collaboration with LSB and Tyler Daley which has since established itself as one of the most iconic drum and bass tracks of the past decade. DRS 'Del-Rok-Ski' is one of the most heavyweight and prolific lyricists in the game who delves deep into the intricacies of himself to always deliver an honest, inward, and characteristically beautiful work of art.
