An underground country artist.
Dwight Knight is a rock ‘n’ roll raconteur and multi-instrumentalist, best known for his stint with Spitoon—an innovative hick-hop band that at one point or another shared members of Heart, Puddle of Mudd, and The Knack. Hailing from Rubidoux, CA, Dwight spins yarns about life, love, and loss—often with a twang, a grin, and just a touch of country flair. Before the music, he was a greaserunner at Donahoo’s Chicken, living the California dream. After an 18-year intermission—think of it as a well-deserved encore—he’s back on the SoCal scene, playing coffee houses and writer’s rounds, working on his new record “Rust Belt”, and hoping to strike a chord with both old friends and fresh faces alike. It’s all about the stories, the songs, and the soul. See you at the show!
