Encardia

encardia is the name of a Greek musical ensemble inspired by, creating and presenting melodies and songs from the rich musical tradition of Mediterranean regions, especially from Southern Italy and Greece. The sound of the band has been considered “unique and personal” coming out threw the more than 3000 concerts that have been performed since 2004 that the band is established. Encardia has performed especially in Greece, but many concerts they have been given also in Italy, Southern France, Algeria, Germany, Switzerland and Cyprus. The troubadours of encardia have released six albums, all of them critically acclaimed. The unique connection they share with their audiences while in concert has often been notably mentioned by the media. They have cooperated with the most important representatives of the Southern Italian musical scene, for album recordings as in live performances as well. (G.
