Born, raised, and living in Austin, TX, Eric Michael Smith has been fully immersed in the ATX songwriter circles for as long as he can remember. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with many talented musicians. In 2024 he formed Smith & Reeves, a country band that brings together some of the most talented players in the Austin music scene and beyond. As the band incorporated more and more of Eric’s original songs, they pivoted to performing under his name, becoming one of Austin’s best damn bands to two-step to at your favorite honky tonk. His music features an all-original lineup, breathing new life into classic southern style rock n’ roll.
