Soft and cinematic, Erik Sigurd's piano compositions are suspended in a hopeful nostalgia - a musing on past lives, faded love and feelings that linger long after a moment has left. Born into a family of musicians, Sigurd’s style has evolved instinctively since he took up piano aged 7. After studying classical piano, he went on to play concerts where he would sit and improvise to pass time backstage, moments of melancholy making their way from head to keys. Moved by his unassuming yet utterly breath-taking melodies, a friend convinced Sigurd to spend a day recording in the studio, and his first album, ‘Sun, mine’ came to be. He has since released four more EP's entitled 'Lady of Glass,’ 'Ode to Unsaid Thoughts,’ ‘Elsewhere The Sun Burns Fiercely’ and 'Scenes From A Summer'
