An underground rock act.
Everything But The Everything started as a one-man project in East Oakland by Izzy The Gent, transformed into a studio collaborative, and finally a full-fledged band. Band Members: Everything But The Everything longtime collaborators, vocalists Sophia Prise and Tobias Hawkins. Ian Dowd (Fire In The Hamptons), Andrew Lund (Thought Leaders, Foreign Made, Lower Forty-Eight) lay down guitars and drummer Chad Roxxit (The Hot Takes, Chad and Scott) have all joined forces with Izzy, writing / playing live. In the studio: Landon Cisneros (Spirit Mother, Zodiac Death Valley) has held the helm on drums. Moog magician extraordinaire, Andrew Gomez (NRVS LVRS) has also been in EBTE's corner. All material has been recorded with studio producer Rex Shelverton (Bellavista, VUE). ____ After years of promoting house music events, Izzy found his niche promoting rock shows at beloved San Francisco venues like Slims, The Great American Music Hall, The Rickshaw Stop and The Red Devil Lounge. Izzy has played bass guitar with San Francisco bands The Cons, Song of the Siren, The Party Fouls, Fake Your Own Death, Sporting Life but found his home with the indie electro outfit, The Frail. After playing with The Frail from 2010 - Nov. 2014, Izzy took a three-year break from music. A random visit to Oakland's Legionnaire all instrument hip-hop open mic inspired his return to music.
Everything but the Everything plays atmospheric indie rock and post-punk with gothic overtones, rooted in the Oakland underground scene.
The band originated in East Oakland, California.
