An underground sludge metal act.
Extensa is an instrumental trio from eastern Greater Poland, active since 2021. The band consists of Paweł Wieloch (guitar), Andrzej Radniecki (bass), and Mariusz Wróblewski (drums). Their sound moves within what they describe as “psycho heavy noise” – a blend of weight, repetition, and trance, forming immersive, psychedelic landscapes beyond rigid genre boundaries. Rather than following conventional structures, Extensa builds atmosphere and tension, drawing the listener into a gradual, hypnotic experience. In 2023, they released their self-titled debut album via Gusstaff Records. In 2025, the band followed up with the No!$€ Radio EP, a collection of rarities and more experimental material, and later released their second full-length album Echomora, further developing their dense and immersive sonic language. Their approach has been recognized within the Road to Mystic initiative, highlighting their growing presence on the heavy and experimental music scene. Extensa doesn’t tell stories directly. They create conditions for the listener to find their own.
