Tenaciously DIY and cryptic in presence, Fierce Invalids defy expectations in genre from guitar based music. The debut album “n ew bu s ine ss” is brooding, unexpected, and above all, fierce, this full length LP embodies the band operating at full strength. A collection of aggressive sonic textures, it was written in a fury of isolation and relentless late night sessions. As a self-funded venture from the bottom up, they leave no stone unturned. Loud abrasive guitars, sub rattling bass, pummeling powerful drums, buzzsaw synths, orchestral string arrangements, soulful saxophone, and lush layered vocals, its evocative soundscapes are weaved together with odd times and a catharsis of emotion.
