An underground piano rock artist.
Gamazda reimagines rock and metal for solo piano, preserving the energy, rhythm and character of the original music while transforming it into something that can exist entirely on one instrument. Behind Gamazda is pianist Aleksandra Kuznetsova, a Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory graduate with honors and a laureate of international piano competitions. Her classical background meets a deep connection to rock, with influences ranging from Metallica, Queen, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd to Rammstein, System of a Down, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Tool, alongside cinematic composers such as Hans Zimmer and Ennio Morricone. Since launching Gamazda in 2019, Aleksandra has built an audience of more than 1 million YouTube subscribers and over 100 million views. Her distinctive piano interpretations have reached a global audience and received recognition from members of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tool and Papa Roach. Gamazda now brings this concept to the stage through international solo concerts, including sold-out shows across Europe, turning the grand piano into an instrument with the power, intensity and scale of a rock performance.
