Gato Salam are two brothers in diaspora. Their music lives in the space between; between Istanbul and London, between soul and psychedelia, between the organic and the electronic. On stage they combine organic instruments and electronic sounds, using live looping to pull it all together. Unhurried, intimate, like being invited to dinner in their living room. Their first song, Günesh means the sun in turkish, and the tune is exactly that, a warm celebration built around a psychedelic groove and minimal lyrics that let the feeling breathe.
