Filippo and Giulio, the soul of Gypsy Dynamite, explode onto stage with sizzling guitar!! Their repertoire comprises of unique and fresh arrangements of traditional Gypsy swing, delectable Italian & Latin pieces, interspersed with crowd pleasing ‘classics’. This is the unmistakable Gypsy Dynamite style! The band was originally formed in London in 2012, as a duo by highly skilled guitarists Giulio Romano Malaisi and Filippo Dall'Asta. They have quickly grown to be one of the most highly sought-after Gypsy Jazz live bands for live shows, film & media, private parties and corporate events. As well as performing regularly in the UK, they have toured extensively in France, Italy, Malta and Russia. They have played to packed audiences at some of the most high profile occasions at some of the most prestigious London venues, including: the Houses of Parliament, Royal Academy of Arts, Tower of London, Brasserie Zedel, Union Chapel, Novikov; the Century Club, Brasserie Toulouse Lautrec, Le QuecumBar, Cahoots, The Hideaway and the Green Note. The duo often teams up with incredible guest singers and musicians from the crème of London's vibrant live music scene - sometimes even expanding their line-up to a 6-piece band. 11 September 2020 sees the release of their hotly anticipated new album “Cafe Dynamite“.
