Marine infantry veteran. Point man in Ramadi, Iraq. Helicopter EMS pilot. Now a hobby farmer in Minnesota. I grew up a city kid and somehow ended up raising goats, chickens, kids—and two kunekune pigs, Franklin and Hamilton (not for consumption, just friends). I’ve flown in Hawaii, picked people up off highways in the middle of the night, and seen both the best and worst of what life can throw at you. My roots trace back to Kauai—my mom grew up on a sugarcane plantation in Hanapepe Valley, dirt floors and all. A part of me will always belong there. I started uploading music for a simple reason: it was the easiest way to listen to my own work. My wife and kids liked hearing it, but juggling MP3s on phones and in the truck was a pain. Spotify and Amazon solved that. A few bucks a month, and it was out there. Somehow, people in over 100 countries started listening—and that still blows my mind. I appreciate it more than I can put into words. I make art to make art. Most of it never leaves the notebook. Some of it misses. Some gets close. Every once in a while, something clicks—and I know it when it happens. What you’re hearing is the top 1% of the 1% of everything I create. Music helps me process life—the noise, the frustration, the emotion, the shared human stuff we all carry. No team. No label. Just a husband, a dad, and a guy making what’s in his head. If you found this, welcome to the journey. This is my pursuit of sound.
