I See Ruins is a Greek five-member metal band formed in Thessaloniki in 2021. Their discography began with the release of the single “Four Commands” in July 2022. The band’s sound is constantly evolving, but they fall broadly within the spectrum of modern metal. Additional influences in I See Ruins’ music come primarily from core hybrids. The band has recently released their debut EP "Against Myself", marking a new chapter in their musical journey. Coming from a country without a strong tradition in heavy music, I See Ruins aim to establish themselves in the local scene while also spreading their sound beyond the borders of Greece. The themes they choose to explore usually revolve around social or personal issues. Thunderous riffs are combined with powerful growls, melodic choruses, and atmospheric arrangements, resulting in a timely sound that appeals to the more daring listeners.
