Janna

Janna is a storyteller by heart. She accompanies herself on guitar and piano and draws inspiration from great singer-songwriters from the 1970s and beyond. Her music is a blend of pop, soul, jazz, and folk. With her warm voice, interpretations, and personal style, she captivated the coaches, the professional jury, and the audience during the TV show Talent Unplugged. Immediately after the final, her first self-written single, "She Knows Me Now (The Silent Song)," was released. A song about the intuitive voice that everyone knows inside. This song received extensive airplay on NPO Radio 2, featured in major Spotify playlists, and Janna made several high-profile TV appearances on shows like Eva Jinek. After successful performances at major festivals in the summer of 2025, such as Zwarte Cross and Concert at Sea, Janna started the first part of her own theater tour, playing sold-out venues in the country. Janna and her band played well-known songs like "She" and "The Boxer," alongside own songs. In November Janna performed at a sold-out AFAS Live in Amsterdam. Last fall, Janna supported Hannah Mae's entire club tour, guested at a Soulful Christmas show by Trijntje Oosterhuis, and supported artists like Guus Meeuwis and RONDÉ. 2026 kicked off with a performance at Noorderslag (ESNS) in Groningen, followed by part two of her theater tour in January and February ending in a sold-out Royal Theater Carré. On March 6th Janna released her 2nd single 'Light Over You'.
