Joe Stilgoe is an internationally acclaimed singer, pianist and songwriter. “A very British Harry Connick, Jr.” THE TIMES; “Amazing" Tim Minchin. He has released 10 critically acclaimed albums, five of which have topped the UK Jazz chart. His next album, a collaboration with Kansas Smitty's frontman Giacomo Smith and supported by a new jazz supergroup outfit The Entertainers, also featuring Joe Webb and Emma Smith is called Welcome To The Club. He has worked with Jamie Cullum, Hannah Waddingham, Caro Emerald, Claire Martin, Liane Carroll, Diana Krall, Natalie Williams, Clare Teal The John Wilson Orchestra, Curtis Stigers, BBC Concert Orchestra, 'Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, Guy Barker , Metropole Orkest and hundreds more. He is a modern-day entertainer, known globally as a performer of wit, style and a level of musicianship which has seen him recognised as a leading singer-pianist. He’s always searching for a new way of bringing his own songs, and those he loves from the past, to a new audience. An enticing mix of his heroes Danny Kaye, Nat King Cole and Dudley Mooreand influenced by Harry Connick, Jr. Cole Porter Frank Sinatra, Stevie Wonder, Ella Fitzgerald, The Beach Boys, Oscar Peterson. He’s created award-winning theatrical shows including A Tribute To Gene Kelly and Songs On Film. He’s regularly hosted and starred on BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night. He has twice opened the Olivier Awards.
