Jonas Esser is a New York based drummer, composer and educator. As an in demand sideman, he has performed at numerous venues in New York City and has toured with different projects in Europe, the US, India, and Columbia. His wide-ranging interest in different realms of Jazz and improvised music has led him to work with a diverse pool of established artists such as Ben Solomon, Gilad Hekselman, Emmanuel Michael, Mike Rodriguez, Yvonne Rogers, Lukas Derungs, Simón Willson, Pablo Held, Jeremy Corren, among many others. He appears on many album releases with various artists from Europe and the US and he is releasing his debut album in January of 2025.
