Jonny has been performing since he was 8 years old. Raised as an actor on the Minack Theatre stage in Cornwall, UK, he trained at the Drama Centre London before a big motorcycle accident left him unable to walk for two years. In hospital he listened to a playlist that had Golden Years by David Bowie on it, which he says convinced him to start music professionally. After touring Europe a few times with his first indie band Montrell, he released his debut solo album officially in 2026. Jonny takes influence from Paul Simon, Tracy Chapman, Bob Dylan and George Harrison. He normally focuses on warm melody and soft, country pop.
