Jules Del Cerro

Jules Del Cerro was born in Paris in the 17th arrondissement and lived in Normandy until the age of 19, in a house filled with Nick Drake records, old Pink Floyd vinyls, and the grand epics of The Alan Parsons Project. From childhood, he took guitar and drum lessons. He began composing in 2025, after attending the American School of Modern Music. He chose to write in English because this foreign language offers him a poetic distance, a melancholy that is never despair. Il décidera d'écrire en anglais car cette langue étrangère lui offre une distance poétique, une mélancolie qui n'est jamais désespoir. Sa musique emprunte au folk acoustique sa simplicité a raconter des histoires et au rock progressif son souffle long et sa complexité harmonique.
