An underground dark ambient artist.
Julián Tenembaum is an Argentine composer, pianist, producer and multidisciplinary artist. His work moves fluidly between neoclassical, electronic and ambient realms, crafting deeply emotive and cinematic soundscapes. He has written original music for film, dance, theatre and series, and has brought his live performances to renowned festivals such as MUTEK, the Venice Dance Biennale, the Guadalajara International Film Festival and other cutting‑edge events worldwide. His compositions have been honored at competitions like the British Web Awards, where he won Best Music for the series Historias Migrantes. As a solo artist, he has released music on forward‑thinking labels like Schole Records — the imprint founded by Japanese pianist‑composer Akira Kosemura — where in 2022 he debuted Fragmentos, a solo piano album that reimagines neoclassical motifs with contemporary sensitivity. In 2025 he presents Multitudes, an EP marking a pivotal moment in his trajectory: an electronic, experimental journey in which texture, rhythm and space intertwine to tell intimate, expansive stories.
