Formed in Northampton, UK, Julie’s Dead is a feral alternative punk quintet blending classic hardcore aggression with streetpunk hooks. Originally carving out their space in the underground scene in the early 1990s, the band returned to the physical market after a 30-year hiatus with their 'All These Years' (2022) and 'Kill Your Idols' (2023) EPs. Entering a brand new era in 2026, the band is now fronted by lead vocalist Lianne, bringing a mean, moody, and commanding vocal delivery to their unrelenting live sets. Driven by a fierce DIY ethos and socially conscious storytelling—including lyricism drawing from the band's professional roots in mental health rehabilitation—Julie’s Dead remain an essential, unapologetic staple of the UK grassroots music community. Their upcoming 10-track studio album, 'This is why we can’t have nice things', arrives in December 2026.
