KANADIA are James Bettis (guitar/vocals), Tim Lucas (drums), Melissa Marshall (synths/keys) and Everton Barbato (bass). A four-piece alternative rock band, renowned for their exciting stadium-sized live shows on the Oxford music scene, with a cathartic songwriting style that has resonated with a cult following from the UK outward. Their third studio album The Fire That’s Tearing Through Our Home is out now, featuring the singles Going Nowhere, Too Late Now, Slide Off The Earth and I Can’t Feel The Sunlight. On this record, the band continue to evolve — blending the expansive sound they are known for while pushing into new territory with a rawer approach to recording and songwriting. Fresh from their sold-out O2 Academy Oxford show, KANADIA have toured the UK supporting Black Foxxes and have performed at In It Together Festival, Truck Fest, Common People Festival, BBC Introducing and SoFar Sounds. They have also headlined the O2 Academy Oxford multiple times and played venues across the country including The Bullingdon, Hare and Hounds, Night and Day Café, The Cellar, Jericho Tavern and Sunflower Lounge. In recent years, their audience has continued to expand, with a growing international following from Germany to Mexico and beyond, alongside their loyal UK fanbase. Their second album, June in December (2022), was praised for its raw and honest approach to themes such as mental health, set against the expansive, reverb-drenched rock that is becoming their hallmark.
