Kitty O'Neal

Kitty O’Neal is a UK singer-songwriter crafting warm indie-folk threaded with soft indie-rock and understated pop. Built on piano-led writing, layered guitars and spacious rhythms, her songs carry floating vocals, soaring melodies and quietly vivid lyrics. Inspired by Lucy Rose, Bess Atwell and the storytelling of 70s folk, she bridges intimate songwriting and rich, cinematic arrangements. A compelling live performer, she’s played 75+ venues across the UK and Ireland, including Glastonbury Festival, building a loyal audience through her emotive, engaging shows. She has supported Rae Morris, Rozi Plain and Band of Skulls, and spent much of 2024 touring the UK. In 2024 she self-produced her EP Cross St Demos (Frictionless Music), launching it with sold-out shows and radio support across BBC 5 Live, Times Radio, BBC Ulster, BBC Introducing and Soho Radio. She also curated and co-headlined a UK triple-bill tour with illustrator Chris Riddell, who live-illustrated each show. Previously shortlisted for Purbeck Rising and Glastonbury Emerging, she has played both festivals and across the south coast circuit. In 2025, she received Help Musicians funding to record her debut album, due 2026.
