Koch Marshall Trio
An underground modern blues artist.
The Koch Marshall Trio are a groove-based instrumental blues and jazz outfit featuring guitarist Greg Koch, his son drummer Dylan Koch, and Hammond B-3 specialist Toby Lee Marshall. A Milwaukee native, Greg Koch has over two decades of experience as a bandleader and session musician. Drummer Dylan also brings much to the trio, including having honed his skills at the Wisconsin Conservatory of Music and McNally Smith School of Music. Along with performing with his father, the younger Koch also mentored with longtime Chick Corea drummer Tom Brechtlein. Joining them is organist Marshall, who has toured with Lonnie Brooks and Bernard Allison. In 2018, the Koch Marshall Trio released their full-length album Toby Arrives. ~ Matt Collar, Rovi
