An underground electronic act.
The duo Larosée, crafts an alternative sound from a small Parisian home studio, where they compose and produce together. Their elegant, organic and dreamlike world invites us to slow down and reconnect with ourself. At the crossroads of folk nostalgia and the intensity of the electronic scene, their project stands out through a sensitive fusion of their respective backgrounds. Camille was born to a French father and an Ivorian mother. She was deeply influenced by the Dehima masses with melancholic harmonies held in her living room, and the folk records of her father. She composed her first songs using her computer and developed an interest in photography, cinema and architecture. Jeremie taught himself to play the guitar at a very young age. After several experiences in bands, he developed an interest in electronic music, particularly the underground scene, setting up a solo live project which he performed in Paris, Montreal and Milan. The duo formed in Montreal and chose their name (French word for “The Dew”), a nod to the long songwriting sessions that stretched into the early hours of the morning. Inspired by artists such as The Mamas and the Papas, James Blake, Radiohead and Saya Gray, they have built a project with a clear vision : authenticity and emotion.
Larosée plays an alternative hybrid sound blending folk nostalgia with electronic intensity, crafted in a Parisian home studio.
The duo originally formed in Montreal and is currently based in Paris, France.
