Léa Mondo is a London-based vocalist, songwriter, guitarist and performer known for her soulful, jazz-infused sound and magnetic stage presence. Born in Kinshasa and raised in Wigan, she is shaped by a rich mix of cultural influences, Léa crafts immersive, storytelling-led performances that blend sonic elegance with disarming, down-to-earth humour. Her debut EP Rising Woman, released via Wah Wah 45s, received widespread praise and radio play from BBC 6 Music (Deb Grant, Tom Ravenscroft, Don Letts), Jazz FM, Bandcamp Weekly, and Gilles Peterson’s Worldwide FM. With a unique voice that moves between vulnerability and power, Léa has carved out a space that sits between jazz, soul, and poetic narrative. Now an independent artist, the singer is evolving her sound into soul, motown and jazz focused project, Léa Mondo is ready to captivate audiences with work that is bold and reflective.
