Lila March

Lila March is a singer-songwriter who plays guitar and piano. Like many beautiful artists whose sound many refer to when first meeting her--such as Joan Baez, Fiona Apple, Tori Amos-- Lila's journey started as a child experimenting on her father's piano at home. She was in a band at age 16, performed in some of Spain's most iconic local venues. Fast-forwarding to 2024, her presence is palpable, raw and captivating...and will be seen live in Milan and The Netherlands in 2025. Follow for the latest event updates. Through her poetic lyrics and interlaced harmonies, Lila March speaks of the need to free oneself; and of being paradoxically tied to that need...of accepting death as the climax of one's own life. She sings beautifully about the advantages of growing up uprooted (and therefore alien) to the limitations of gender and societal savageries and stereotypes. Born in Barcelona, her debut EP DUNA combines elements of alternative rock, and poetic songwriting in spanish, with hints of psychedelia, and influences of Arabic music. Lila March seeks to transcend the fragile border between beauty and pain, joy and nostalgia, taking advantage of this friction of emotions as a space for sensory exploration within her melodies and poetic lyrics.
