An underground soul artist.
Lionhaire is a British singer-songwriter, born in the U.K. but spending her childhood in Paris. Moving back to England at 16 to attend Hereford College of Arts graduating to Cheltenham University, until the pandemic hit in 2020. Growing up between the two countries has had an influence on her music, as she flips casually between the languages to tell her story. Pulling from her Jamaican & Irish heritage, all of these influences are delicately delivered in her musicianship. Now back in the U.K. based between London & out on the farm in Whitbourne. You’ll find Lionhaire on stage in the big city or huddled up in her caravan writing her feelings with her guitar. A gifted guitar player, she's added her smooth vocals which carry echoes of Lauryn Hill. A self-taught instrumentalist she adds drums, keys & the bass to her resume as a musician. Hitting the UK festival scene hard this year, she has lit the stage up at Lake Fest with the BBC, Noztock Festival with Jamm Factory, Fun in the Park festival, Matchsticks Festival, back in her hometown for the Indie Food fest & more! Watch out for her pounding your stage soon! Hold on to your hearts world!
