An underground indie pop artist.
Lottie McLeod writes with vivid imagery, that’s both deeply personal and universally relatable. Genre shifting in a manner that places her somewhere between indie, pop, alt-country, and folk Lottie manages to turn ordinary moments into heart-achingly relatable lyrics, delivered with an intimacy in her writing that feels completely her own and immediately recognisable, all with the endearing ability to see the humour in almost anything. Since emerging in 2023, Lottie has built a formidable live résumé, performing at BIGSOUND 2024, Triple j’s 50th Birthday Tour on Yugambeh Country with headliner Mallrat in 2025 and multiple notable support opportunities. Released in September 2026, Lottie’s seven-track sophomore EP, The Boathouse, reflects why she is described as "one of Australia's most compelling songwriters" (Andy Gav, Triple J Music Director). The Boathouse, includes Lottie's breakout single "Wednesday's at the Waterloo" (introduced by Mollie King of BBC's Radio 1's 'Future Pop', as "a really really beautiful song") has become Lottie’s biggest single to date. Tommy Faith, Triple J Unearthed's Executive Producer gave WATW five stars, calling it “the perfect song”! Named QMusic's "Emerging Artist of the Year" in 2025 and nominated for the Australian Women in Music's "Emerging Artist of the Year" in 2026 Lottie continues to demonstrate why she is 'One to Watch'. Catch her on her Australian headline tour in Oct 2026 and in London for one show only on 14 December at SJQ.
