A nostalgic indie pop artist.
Luna Morgenstern is “the kind of talent that can captivate with a single syllable” (Wonderland Magazine). Based in Berlin, she writes and produces music that sits between club euphoria and emotional fallout. Her songs feel intimate but physical, built on precise, self-produced arrangements drawing from late ’90s rave, early ’00s club music and left-field pop. Her writing is direct and unguarded, built around moments that are usually left unsaid. There’s a tension in her work, delicate but unrestrained, softness before it breaks. Her 2023 EP Dance Dance (Don’t Go) marked a turning point, earning support from The Face, The Independent, Clash and Dork, and leading into her first headline shows. She followed it with heartbreak hotel, a six-track project structured like a building you move through, each room capturing a different stage of a relationship ending.
Luna Morgenstern plays indie pop, dance pop, alternative pop - rooted in tradition rather than chasing trends, as distinctive visually as sonically. Luna Morgenstern is “the kind of talent that can captivate with a single syllable” (Wonderland Magazine).
Luna Morgenstern's live sets are tight and well-rehearsed - mid-paced sets where the arrangements come through clearly.
