Hasanka Wickramarathna aka Manasick, is a conscious rapper based in Dubai and originally from Sri Lanka. Formerly known as Born Lord, he is a founding member of the Sri Lankan supergroup Drill Team Westnahira. From the group’s debut single “Zorro” to their latest album “Kataka”, Manasick has played a significant role in shaping and elevating the Sri Lankan rap scene. Through his powerful lyricism, technical skill and commitment to quality, he has helped set new standards for Sinhala rap music. Renowned for his unique stage presence and dynamic live performances, Manasick has also been instrumental in landmark events such as Kataka Live in Concert and Kuweni Live in Concert, both of which contributed to the growth and recognition of Sri Lankan music culture. Manasick is currently preparing to release a new concept album later this year.
