Mark Ernestus is a foundational figure in Berlin's electronic music landscape, renowned for establishing the iconic Hard Wax record store and co-founding influential projects like Basic Channel and Rhythm & Sound. His work masterfully blends deep dub techno with reggae influences, creating atmospheric and rhythmically rich soundscapes that have profoundly shaped the genre.
