Mark Reeder

Mark Reeder is from Manchester, UK. He’s lived in Berlin since 1978. He was Joy Divisions ‘Man in Berlin’ and Factory Records German Rep. Helped to organise Joy Divisions one and only gig in West-Berlin’s Kant Kino. Worked with Malaria! and Die Toten Hosen. Smuggled tapes and organised 2 secret gigs in East-Berlin for DTH. Hes the only westerner to produce an album in commie GDR (East Germany) Torture by East-Berlin indie band Die Vision. It was the last album of the GDR. He played in bands Die Unbekannten, Shark Vegas, Alien Nation, and Ten Forward. He runs MFS (Masterminded For Success) Label. Works as a music producer, musician and remixer and lecturer. He’s Remixed a/o Depeche Mode, New Order, The Pet Shop Boys, Yello, John Foxx, Blank & Jones, Anne Clark. He starred in Nekromantik II, & B-Movie (Lust & Sound in West Berlin) & 80s TV show The Tube Berlin Special. Produced/co-wrote (with studio partner Michael Adam) Children of Nature and Life Everywhere albums with Alanas Chosnau. Produced/co-wrote Communication by Birmingham Electric. Produced/co-wrote Fragment, and Eroded Creation albums by STOLEN.
