Mica
A stylish, polished darkwave artist.
Mica twists post-punk, darkwave, and avant-pop into a sound that’s cinematic, combustible, and charged with romantic tension. Hypnotic rhythms and brooding atmospheres meet the precision of a stylist and the urgency of a live wire, anchored by a voice that cuts with both intimacy and force. Rising from Southern California’s underground, Mica has turned select shows into headline moments - playing Viva Pomona and supporting Nabihah Iqbal, Depresión Sonora, and Iceage. He’s co-headlined a sold-out Garden Amp with 60 juno and packed The Echo with Mexico’s art-punk heroes Valgur, keeping appearances rare and high-impact. In the studio, Mica blends post-punk grit with pop structure and gothic romanticism. His debut EP with Sinnerella set the tone, followed by the solo statement American Gothic in 2024 and collaborations with Faerybabyy and Sinnerella that expanded his range while keeping his aesthetic sharp. Beyond music, his visual world extends into fashion and art direction - appearing in Saint Laurent’s Malibu runway show, featured in Vogue, and profiled by LADYGUNN and Fucking Young!. He was also cast by Frank Ocean for an i-D magazine photo essay, marking a cultural alignment with one of his generation’s most influential artists. With a growing international audience, Mica stands ready for his next defining era. He is set to release his debut album in Spring 2026.
