Moheato is a DJ and producer known for his cinematic sound, blending the journey-like flow of progressive house with the energetic and darker elements of melodic techno. Trancey synths are a staple of his style, adding an emotive, high-energy dimension to his sets. Born in Mexico City and raised in Chicago, Moheato’s music is shaped by his cultural background, often incorporating Spanish grooves and vocals, as well as the punchy rhythms and lyrical storytelling of hip hop. Since debuting in the San Francisco scene in 2023, he has focused on crafting a unique sound that brings people together. Through his monthly series, More Than A Feeling, Moheato emphasizes music’s power as an expression of love and community—an experience meant to connect and inspire. His debut remix of “Lights Down Low” for The Undercurrent drops May 22, 2025—marking the first of many releases that channel his emotional, high-octane signature. With each track, Moheato continues to explore new sonic territory while staying grounded in the rhythms that move both heart and body.
