Moy Cohen is a British-Mexican singer-songwriter making warm, emotionally direct folk-pop. Inspired by artists including Nick Mulvey , Tom Odell , Ben Howard James Blake and Coldplay , his music blends honest storytelling with acoustic guitar, piano, strings and atmospheric production. Growing up between Bristol and Mexico City has shaped the way Moy writes about love, belonging, distance and change. His music has received support from BBC Introducing and been featured by LADYGUNN and Alt Citizen, while his song Ocean was used in the US television series Walker. In 2025, Moy appeared on Universal Music Mexico’s Sindicato Del Ritmo compilation with Adoro his first release in Spanish and an opportunity to represent the Mexican side of his life through his music. His latest single, Skipping Town, sees Moy embrace a fuller folk-pop sound while keeping the intimate songwriting at its core. He was recently named BBC Introducing in the West’s Artist of the Week, following support from the station for his music.
