While MXGN officially launched in 2023, Max’s journey into electronic music began much earlier. Introduced to DJing at just 9 years old, before later producing his own tracks at 15, by 16 he was performing regularly in his hometown of Liverpool. MXGN was then born four years later as a techno focused project. consolidating years of experience into a clear and refined artistic direction. His catalogue now spans a range of respected and influential labels, including NineTimesNine, No Mercy Records, Teletech, and the legendary Filth on Acid. Among these releases, MXGN’s breakout track “Bounce Back” has amassed over 25 million streams on Spotify, marking a defining milestone in his career.
